For clear laminate, check a local teachers supply or office supply. The laminate is the same as is used for standard lamination. It comes in larger rolls.

Thats not out at the Beech (Raytheon, whatever) field is it? It doesn't look like it, but can't tell cause it's dark. I learned to fly a plane at that field... 30 some odd years ago when I was a lil kid!

I can tell their was lots of wind while u were flying, makes the video look cool with the hovering plane.

I had about 10MPH of wind. In Kansas, that counts as 'still conditions.'

No - it's not Beech field; it's actually a big farmer's field out southeast of town. I got their permission to fly there and it's pretty great: 1/2 mile square of nothing but tall grass.

(That's actually my buddy Mitch on guitar and vocals, BTW)

Here's my first video...and best, thanks to my wife and her new Nikkon DSLR! She manned the video while I flew out over Lake Tahoe this weekend. One of the best parts was just being with my whole family and hearing them experience this night flying for the first time! My two year old is the one yelling at the start..too cute. Enjoy!

SE side of town you say... I grew up near 47th St and 159th St (county line). Went to Rose Hill. Folks still live there. I'm coming down this weekend and bringing my nite flyer. Let me know if you want a partner to do some nite flying with this weekend and I'll come meet you out there!

I grew up in Halstead... but I don't have a strong desire to go back there

It is a great part of the country if you love aviation though.

My dad refers to the Wichita area as "the God forsaken desert". I too don't have a strong desire to go back. I like the Kansas City area much better. We have hills and trees.

Looks like temps are finally going to dip for Wichita over the weekend. Dad said its like 50 days in a row over 100 degrees down there. YUK!
