Question
Storm Launcher (big one) - How does it charge?

Question:

Does the "Big" Storm Launcher (not the mini) charge from the transmitter or an AC Adapter?

I'm wanting to try one but also wondering how strong the wheels are cuz I want to drive it around a lot too.

Thanks in Advance.

It has no wheels first off, as it uses plastic skids, hence the water ability. Also the battery is like regular hobby grade stuff and charges outside of the vehicle. Like lipo chargers.

A 2s lipo charger with an ac adapter(yes it actually has a cell balancer ) ,no wheels just a plastic skid, more reliable. much more thrust than you can imagine...3d on a full charge of a broken in lipo.

Don't forget to brake it in by letting it sit at 1/4 throttle for the first few charges,if you don't bad things will happen.

Remove the prop guards you will make more thrust,if it is used on water I would cut them off if I were you so the inner part of the guard will protect the motors, plus its easier.

Don't forget to buy the lipo, it doesn't come with it.
Btw its big , epp ,and fast so watch out!

Here it has great range much more than a aa and I've taken aa's out of visual range. I'd say about 500ft.

Yeah, you buy the SL batteries separately. Each battery comes
with an AC charger, so if you buy several batteries, you end up
with a surplus of chargers. But you can have several batteries
lined up ready to go, with one plane.

The battery and charger goes for $30 everywhere I've seen it
(except ebay of course...)

Most wal-marts that still have batterys in stock have them on clearance, ranging from $17 to $5.
