Has anyone got their hands on a E-Flite Blade 400 yet? I'm highly interested in getting one of those helis.

The release date was pushed back by horizon hobby, I think till mid december this time.

Says late December on the Horizon Hobby website, but at least they have the manual online now.

Someone at runryder already test flown one and said its awesome. It starts at the bottom at youthflyers post.

If that post is truthful than horizon may have come up with some serious competition for the t-rex line of helis

I received mine on Saturday. Having had several electric helis, I wasn't going to get too excited about this one. I can honestly say that this is the first and only RTF heli that is truely as stated. I was impressed with the way it comes from the factory. The transmitter is programmed wonderfully. The only thing that I've done so far is to trim it to hover level. This is one kick helicopter, It is very stable and also quite agile at the same time. E-flite has a real winner. You can't go wrong with this fine bird!!!!

R U serious?? It is that good?? I wasn't expecting too much, for the price just the radio seems worth it. I have a CX 2 and want to upgrade. I've been a fixed wing R/C pilot for 24 years, & I need something new to pique my interest. I would like to eventually get a 50 sized nitro, but am seriously thinking of getting the Blade 400 as a transtion. The Big Question: How well does it fly outdoors? Does it come anywhere close to the Trexx?

Here is some poor quality video I shot yesterday of Jamie Robertson. It was in the low 30's and sprinkling.

Equipment used during that flight: TP2200V2, Radix 325s, stock gyro, stock servos, JR 3400G tail servo, T-rex carbon tail blades, grips and mixers flipped, stock paddles, stiffer dampening, stock motor & pinion. It will fly as well on the stock blades without the extra pop the Radix blades provide. The stock tail servo also does a great job, but the 3400G provides a more constant piro rate.

Anyone know if there are any scale fuse's out yet that will fit this?

I've just bought my Blade 400..

It looks as if the Trex 450 fus's will fit...

I am impressed! Does the JR servo plug right into the Blade RX?
