Hiya, guys!

Quadshot in another thread had the idea of getting some coinage together towards something simple like fruit baskets or somesuch for the Poway neighbors that have treated us nicely opening the gate, etc. How about some input but we need to move on this. I'll be happy to be point man in the project.
I understand that the folks in the first, second and fourth homes slopeside and the first house on the east side have been very positive towards our activities. House three where the Beemer is has been less so but this effort might go a long way to show him that we have a vested interest in the overall health of the ridgeline and we're not a bunch of hoods. To that end, what do you all think? Should we do it and if so, what do we want to use to show our appreciation? I figure a week's worth of discussion will be plenty to come to a concensus and remember, the K.I.S.S principal is in effect here.

I'll repeat my support again in this thread. It's a great idea and worth it to create some good will! The woman in the 1st house slopeside has been very nice, even offerign to let a couple of us traipse through her back yard leaving the hill.

I'd definitely donate to the cause.

I say do it for all 5 of them. My first thought was to put a flaming bag of DS on the Bimmer place but that wouldn't help now would it? Let's see what happens from reaching out a bit.

I think some sort of pre-made pre-packaged basket of goodies from Costco or something like that would be cool. We may want to be careful of anything custum made since the bimmer dood will probably think we're trying to make him sick

I'm in for some $$ guys. I want to fly there sometime.

I would like to contribute and spread good will to the neighbors also--could I suggest that we give something to the house on the north end of the ridge?

Hey Mark, thanks for taking the idea and running with it. This is great. I will let the consensus figure out what to get them, and to whom (although a little kindness can't hurt with the guy in house #3). I'm good for some cash to donate.
