I just got the word. I have to move. I have an RnR Eagle for sale; $300 obo. To correct the WWW, its a 2 wing panel plane not 3. Gonna throw away all the foam that doesn't have NCFM written on it. It's all got Jackass-rash anyway. I will take pics of the Eagle and post in the for-sale section as time permits. Anybody want an '05 CRF450R with (literally) <15hrs. on it? 4K firm!

Bob, I don't know anything about an Alpina, but I would be more worried about the wing snapping in half. Laguna can be bigger than BV and Torrey combined. There is no recovery up there either, unless you get luck. I usually bring disposable foam and stuff it into the scrub at high speeds to land. If you don't want to scratch your planes, stick to Torrey.

This is the LZ. The other option, off the road, is a 40 foot drop in landing (read stall) under the huge rotor. If you've never been there, I would recommend a recon mission first.

What time are you guy's going? Ive got some foam that needs to look at the desert .

I've landed 3m's there, just like at Blossom... "no problem".

Besides, we've all seen Bob's Polish landing strip video from Poway, right. Downwind on a runway that was super short... but reallly wide. You can do it candymaker!
