I have read at least 100 pages of this forum to catch up and to see where you guys like to fly. Looks like BV is the best spot but I'm also interested in the Qualcomm spot as it may be closer to my work for those after work sunset sessions. Anyone have a map of that spot? Anyway, thanks for reading, hope to see you on the slopes!
I also have CR Turbo St kit that I want to sell so I thought I would offer it up to the locals first. Shoot me a PM for more details.
Shane you sound like I did. Although I haven't been out there to fly, and I do miss it, I've heard that a lot has changed out there, including the kite and diapers pilots attitudes. So if you have the money, I'd say give it another chance and go for it. I haven't heard of a Qualcomm spot. Where is it? I know of a slope at the NE intersection of Friars Rd and I-15, but there are homes up there. Hey this is San Diego......there are LOTS of flying site around. You should get that Mart Dart out of storage and get it ready for Friday afternoon if you can for some BV fun. It's a 20 min hike to the top unless you can catch a ride up in someone's 4 x 4. Friday is looking like 'the day' to fly......15 - 20 mph straight in. I'm bringing my goggles!
