I've always wanted to try the send burms...but careful if you are flying on 72 mhz--the electric field is really close.

Riviera Dr. is fun, but once, just after I walked back to my car I noticed a police car looking around...I don't think I was supposed to be standing on the cliff side of the chain.

I hear you .. I'd never fly anything but 2.4 around there ..period.. and i am sure he was watching for a possible blow-back into a car.. all too easy to do there at Riveria Dr. I've flown both..

I would love to, but have to work late tonight. I could meet you at Sunset Cliffs Tue, Wed, or Thur this week during lunch. Sounds like the wind will be cranking, so doubt I would fly. Wouldn't mind observing. Tierrasanta definitely looks doable for me, although might have to be on a weekend or after daylight savings starts.

I'm on 2.4, so no worries about the electric field. I only fly on light days as I'm getting the hang of landing on the small cliff. So far so good.... not even close to getting blown into the street. Quick, I need some wood to knock on.

CARP!!!!

The 4-runner is all in pieces still. Need to take the fricken head off just to put the timing chain cover back on (which means we had to go get another head gasket).

I converted everything to 2.4, so am selling some Berg and FMA receivers here http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1206208 if any of my San Diego buddies are interested.
