Hey James - Which way does Double Peak face? Is that a north facing slope?

HURL tomorrow at Carlsbad, pilots meeting at 11:00am racing starts right after.

This is the first race so organization might be lacking on my part but we will make it happen.

I'll be there. The wind forecast has fairly light conditions, a little south and a little light, but will then turn more west and up to about 10. Should be fine for a fun little race.

Whaaat? I stopped by around 1530 and it was almost exactly south wind. I waited for a few minutes and then left. Oh well, maybe tomorrow it will still be good and I can maiden my BAE Hawk.

Thanks, James. It's a Doug Buchanan kit I bought from BeeDee last year. Fuse is glass, wings are balsa sheeted foam core, that I covered with Solartex before painting. Paint job is all rattle can Rustoleum.

strong winds will be ripping tomorrow. Can't decide if I want to watch Superbowl and see an other Asterix moment in sport history or if I go flying.
Anyhow south west is what they called for at 20mph
