I tread as lightly as possible yesterday, except the one time I slipped and got covered in sooty mud. It was worth it though.

Heh looks like a nice place to fly. I never even thought about hiking out to it before, that's a LONG way from the nearest place to park

We always look at the bald hill across the lake from the normal spot. Not TOO far from a parking area but it's a really TALL climb...

Is that the spot with the flag on it? Cool video again! good job

The camera is cool. I got a PocketCamX, and I am still trying to get the deal right. I have been using an Easy Star, and so far I don't have any decent pictures.

Haven't tried the glider thing yet...no motor, no vibration...

Thanks Terry. Ya' that's the place with the flag... from the looks of it, there's alot of wind up there, all tattered and stuff. Here'r some pics:

Are you allowed to access it with a boat?

I doubt they want people hopping from boat to shore over there but I started looking at inflatable boats/kayaks on craigslist already I suppose if you paddle around to the west side they can't see you from the dock.
All I need are some oars, waterproof bag for Tx and some space for some planes... maybe an extra seat for the girlfriend too. "Hey honey, want to go on a boating picnic?"

I tried some DS with the zagi and the salto but there simply wasn't enough wind to make much of a groove. Just another reason to go back. Does anybody have a canoe, inflatable boat?

anyone heading up to Carlsbad north of the "powerstation" to fly in the south wind?

It's really blowing in the high teens low 20's here in Cardiff.
