Mini Telemaster-Low Wing?!
The MT that I picked up on the HL Thanksgiving Sale showed up today and as I was checking it out I got the idea that it would be cool to make it a low wing, it looks like a stand-off a bit Cherokee. I'm thinking of making it so I can switch the wing from top to bottom when I pleased. A hatch-type cover could be made to go in the top wing saddle when it was converted to low wing.
I'm not sure if the position of the stab would make a tremendous difference or not as it is mounted on top of the fuse, it could also be made to be switched to the bottom if had to be. I'm also woundering if it would be best to make a bottom wing saddle or to rig up some type of plug-in type wing mount.
I've developed a huge urge to do a little kit bashing all of a sudden...

I've been in clubs where members have built slimer versions of the Telemaster and the Sig Kadet as low wings. I got to fly them and they were excellent sport planes and big pussycats.
I'm sure any size of the Telemaster would be good as a low wing.
