The new HM-160

Totally Cool Joe,,when ya start laying "Them" up, I'll take the first spot availible for one.
Untill then, I'll be out in a couple of weeks when the wind kicks up again to fly the HM-126 Thundertaker and my opus,mabe a slope/mach dart too.

I'll be watching this thread for sure,,totally cool Joe, get back out and raise the bar again,,thats what I plan to do

Nice alloy ya got there man I'd like to help polish those.

when you get into the high grits Joe you can use WD40 or kerosene..if you can stand the smell it won't clog the paper as much and also helps prevent oxidisation patches (if using low mg alloys)

I use a medium rubber block cut to the surface curvature, for softer molds even a carefully crafted piece of EPP works well.

Cavity polishing is a bit of an artform, but with the quality of your other work you should have 'em shining in no time flat!

Hey joe, Look at post 19 pic#1 If im not mistaken the reflection from your radio in your mold looks like the Grim Reaper hauling @$$. You should make him your logo.

Joe i have a feeling this is going to look quite different than the prev 160. I have seen the rad air foil by Joe Wurtz. You are not being cautious here is see. Somewhere i had heard that the basic planform was similar to the prev plane. Will the fuse be molded also? Why the one piece wing? You wont be able to build it in your garage at that length. We are only looking at the elevator molds and im already amazed. Thanks for the pictures.
