15xx gearbox on 11xx motor
Hi,
Can you adapt a 15xx gearbox for an 11xx motor? I'm interested in minihotliners and am looking for a light robust high power drivetrain. I've read that these 11xx gearboxes don't hold up well for high power applications with the long cam motors (2+kW). Plus, it would be nice to have the greater choices of gear ratios. Thankx! |

We have the adapter plate to attach the 6.7 P32 gear drive to the 11XX motors.

Thank you very much. Where could I get more information on the specs of this adapter and the procedure for installing the 15xx gearbox on an 11xx motor? I'm assuming there's a special pinion gear required--would that be the factory installed hot-press one or a set-screw one? Or perhaps could the motor be purchased with this setup pre-installed?
