Hi Chuck, Outstanding!!! What a pretty Tigermoth!

Also needs a pilot. Maybe Bullwinkle?

Can't wait to see her fly.

That's really beautiful. Can you give any painting tips? I'd sure like my next Tiger Moth to look that good...

tips...
pick colors you like

pick colors that contrast each other

add lots of sandpaper before and in between coats

steal and copy color and detail schemes from internet photos of planes

use only blue painters tape to set up mask out points

paint all the pieces before assembly (this way it will always be a surprise as to how it really turns out)

several light coats (with sandpaper in between) are more preferrable than one heavy coat (although i don't do it that way)

always point the spray can away from your face

never be afraid of color's....(except for pink and purple be very afraid of these two colors ....unless of course your a girl...lol just kidding folks )

most important....don't try to impress anyone but yourself
and just have fun with it!!!!!

Very nice, Chuck. I should retire my beat-up ole TM and replace her, but she just keeps on a chooglin', so I don't have the heart to.

Very nice color scheme and tips :-) It's nice to see something other than the normal yellow TM. What did you paint the wing with? It really look shinny in the photo. Very nice, I thought it was covering.

Chuck,

Your Moth looks great. The blue came out well.
Look forward to seeing her in the air dogfighting Basketcase.

Chuck,

I have to hand it to you for putting into the air some really stunning models. I think you are a paint wizard.

Nice Work,

Fantastic-looking TM, Belgy!!!

Glad to see the "Old Guard" of the TM pilots are still enjoying and building upon the TM platform. Your influence goes further than you might imagine. That goes for BC,Dreamer, Boomerace, Charlie, etc. as well.

Now that this aircraft is so prevalent, how 'bout a "who's the lightest" discussion? I'm very interested in the flying qualities of the heavy, high-power TM versus the lightweight TM. I went for lightweight, low-power, but I'm fascinated with more power (a la Tim The Tool Man)!!! LOL

Nice job Chuck!

But what do I see in the background, THREE Digipulse chargers?? Go man, go! I've got but one lonely Digipulse, but I've been thinking about adding a second. That stacking feature is great, isn't it?

I'd hang a 300C-D on the sucker but I'm afraid the plane would rotate and the prop stand still when power was cranked on!!!
