Dan Thanks for the link. What was your build time? I saw there are a lot of options to buy with it. What if any options did you get?

I bought mine with all the options; call me lazy. Having watched the excellent build video, I'd just go for the bagged tails and hardware next time and save $20.

Mine is NIB right now but I am tempted to put it at the front of the line as a nice little DS groove was discovered a few miles from my house and the 45'er is just perfect for it.

Meanwhile, Adam posted this video of a big DS crash into rocks at 125 mph or more. At the end you can see the parts up close. The survivability of this thing is amazing.

I'd estimate it takes four evenings to build, there is not much to it and the kit is quite complete.

I'll do a build thread if you guys want.

If you buy the kit the video that Adam made is excellent. He builds the entire kit in real time. Better than a build thread(maybe) but he is the designer so he looks at things differently than I do.

I would pay him to shape the tips and the le as well as glass the tail. Its worth what you pay.

He is a perfectionist (spell) and he will not let anything go out hats is not "right"

Its no fun to show up when he has his planes cause they look so nice and mine look well like... mine.

I'm the designer and builder of the Stinger 45. The waiting list for this thing is now into probably March of 2008. I won't kick them into full time production until February. I'm building 3 CNC machines to speed up the process. Attached is a PDF that explains the kit and the variable options you can get with the kit. If you decide that you would like a kit I would happily put you on the list. You won't need to pay until your kit is ready to ship. The kit doesn't include any written instructions just a DVD video of each step in near real time.

I'll post more pics when I get some time. I'm remodeling a house, new shop, have 2 kids, and still will work a regular job until January. Time is precious!
