The panel lines were airbrushed mostly using tape as a guide. I did freehand some but not near as many as I used to. Eyes aren't what they used to be.

went on va-ca with with family over the weekend. just got back.

bad news...went flying the bearcat on friday before we left. i had some adjustments to do on the flaps, so i braught her in to adjust, then take back off. aparently, one of my 1 lb 4350 4s packs managed to slide back 5" on the landing. i had no clue. went to take off...and you all know very well that a big heavy warbird dosnt fly well when its tail heavy. ...took off by itself...which it never does...this caught me way off gaurd...new something was wrong, then it was snapping all over the place. managed to put it in the weeds power off. it cartwheeled and shatered the left wing, about 1/2 out. busted the cowl a little, and put some cracks in the glass. geez, im still pissed. the thing only has about 8 flights on it. who knows when i'll be able to buy a wing set, or a new kit. its going to be a while. man im pissed.

sorry Jon...you probably wont be taking any pics of that bute at vegas.

Oh crap, hate to hear that. Shrug it off though, you'll get it fixed and flying again.

just velcro ...it needed a wall or stop of some kind...hard to under stand how a 3 point landing that was scale as all hell could jar it loose.....just a freak thing ....you can bet it wont happen to him again ...or me i have been using some sort of stop i all my planes to keep the batt where it belongs. it's just a 1lb batt has a lot more G forces on it than say a 2200 baTT.
