I sleep every night Matt.
It has been interesting, just waiting for beanie to start his thread(hint ) but he's been busy. I'm completing the wing today, tail feathers are done, and will start going together with it soon. I'm really hoping to keep the weight down but I never am very successful at that so.....
I was hoping to try this so I can make my mind up on how to go with the 86. Anxious to get started on it too. Want to take it to SEFF in May.

hey J,
yeah, i hear ya. i'm sorry. i'll try and maybe get it started tonight. by this weekend for sure. mother-in-law is preparing to leave. she was watching the baby, so now that chore falls back upon the wife and me, so less time for r/c. i feel like i haven't touched any r/c stuff (except packages arriving in the mail ) in forever.

Hi Brent..

Good to hear the cores made it OK...John will maybe get his either today or tomorrow..
Thanks for the good words about the cores..Much appreciated..

Yes, I have an interest in a Fury and have the core blanks cut out and eady for hot wire..The only thing is everyday there is a new hot item to attend to and things just get piled up..

Good luck on the build..I am tuning in every day, so it will be great to see your progress..

Jeff..
Nice color displays of the Furies...
Years back I did a solid 1/32 carving of the first Fury, VF-142, for a fellow in Chicago..It made into a very impressive display..

Wish I could say the same for me!

Seriosuly though, can't wait to see how your current builds turn out. That skyraider is smokin, and I can't wait to see how the Mig-15 looks with that glass fuse. How's you do that anyway, the lost foam method? Cool stuff.

It's the lost foam method without the lost foam. ???? I'll explain it when beanie gets the thread up. I've got pics too.

Not if I have to do any work on it Tram!
Matt,
It uses foam but you don't have to dissolve, make a hell of a mess, and lose the mold. Sort of neat really. Wade Joos and Jerry Hall have been holding my hand thru the process. That is not to be taken literally either.

Post Office, my cores didn't come today either so I'm looking at Wed. I hope!
