Question
What's your winter project(s)?

Winter is coming for all those who live in the states that actually get winter... and winter is the time to work on your projects, right?

Anyway, if you have any projects planned for this winter, what are they?

You can read all about mine in my blog.

Hyperflea - ok, not really winter, I'm planning to get this done before Thanksgiving.

Lynx EDF - this one is about half done. My first EDF.

GWS-38 - this is the big one... I'm going to make it like my Great-Uncle's plane that was shot down over Germany. I have all the gear, but I keep using the servos for other quick projects that come up. Oops.

Infineon - I need a 3D plane that will fly a little truer than my overweight Ultimate fx. I have the EPP and the gear, I just need the time. Luckily I won a HL Pitts Profile at a fly-in recently so that will work for practice until the Infineon is ready. If I don't dork it in too many times, it's pretty fragile.

Hopefully there is a 3DHS Extra in my future as well, although that will end up a Spring project at best.

If I get to it next project after that is a Topflite P47. Already have the kit and all the goodies ready to go when one of the above gets finished.

My first RC related winter project is to set up a workshop. We just bought a house and the basement has the perfect spot. It'll be nice to finally be able to build somewhere other than my dining room table. I'll have a nice 25'X15' room for my stuff.

I live in texas.. im going to be flying all winter long, until at the earliest, february.

Even then... its only the mornings and evenings unbearable.

So my winter project is... to learn all orientations real world with my rex 600, and to master my hyperflea...

And depending on how my other posts works out... a divo 3d

As an expert Ezone Discussion Group member, moderator, and highest-post incumbent, you know Andy's being serious or else he would have been funny.

By the way, this winter I'm going to try finishing my Me-323 Gigant that I started about 55 weeks ago. I also might get around to outfitting my new Alfa Models P-47 too. Life's currently a bit too busy to build so incessantly as I did before.
