Just a sneak peak at my full fuse MDC F-14. A little sanding and some paint and I'll be ready.

Well, looking at the jet with the box under the fuse and profile on top, I just spread the two upper fuse peices and made sides. Added the turtle deck mocked up a canopy. Will pull a clear one from a pop bottle soon.

I don't think it adds all that much weight, as stated a little more up front wont hurt.

Bird, I cut the rear deck for a more scale look. Shouldn't make much differnce.I just need to do alot more sanding and round up the corners real good.

I'm suprized no-one else has done this yet.

Just finished my MDC F-14 Finish weight with LSPP 6x4 prop 1320TP is 12.9oz. with plane on scale at full thottle getting 22.66oz. Thats only 9.7oz over weight of plane. MY yardbird F-22 with dualskyxm2826ca-12,1300gt battery weights 12.3oz with thrust 32.38oz thats 20.08 over weight of plane.Going to try LSPP set-up although disappointed with the numbers although the video with this set-up looked impressive. Curious what everybody else's numbers are. have motrolfly 1700kv but weight 14.8oz

Try the LSPP with a 7x4 prop instead.

Mine screams on a LSPP with APC 7x4 (slim type but really doesn't matter). APC is the best choice bare none IMHO. cheap, efficient and QUIET.
