Motors are the http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s..._Version_.html

Batt is Gens Ace 3s 4000mah 25c.

If I remember correctly AUW was 33 or 34oz and thrust was around 32oz maybe a little more.

How many mah of charge were you putting back? How long were you flying the plane for? And how many amps were you drawing on static tests?

Curious as to why 25c is too low, can you explain? A 25c 4000mah batt can provide a 100a output which is way more than the two motors combined will ever draw.

proberly not the best way to explain it but ill give it a try . . .

Its like working on house hold mains for example and the plug is fitted with a 5amp fuse so the most it can draw is 5amp (25c) so now the lipo gets hot so fit a 13amp fuse (35c) and it can draw more and the lipo will stay cool and can handle the power . . . but the motors are still way down on power hence mine runs ok with 6000kv motors and 4000mah 35c 3s lipo

Well it flys as per video and thats where it counts if it cant fly then we are down to three things

1 motors are not power full enough

2 Lipo cant supply enough punch ( as in "c" rating )

3 esc not up to it

and we know the airframe is ok as mine flys fine so we are left with the 3 things above
hope that helps

I wish you had brought the plane down a little so us mere mortals could see it. I couldn't tell what you were doing. It does look like it has enough power for most every regime of flight. Next time maybe a telephoo lens on the video camera.

One my club mates has a pair of those glasses, (I said mates to sound British, HA) I know what you mean about not able to zoom in. Enjoy your English summer as I have had enough of my Florida Summer 95 deg and 95 percent humidity. Feels like 110. So come on Fall. My favorite time of year.

I will try to get some video of my F-14 soon as it is done and flying, maybe in 7-10 days.

My wife and I have been watching "Midsomer Murders" on Netflix and every one seems to be filmed in the fall and winter......I love it, I want to be there everytime. I think last winter I wore my coat probably once and mostly just a flannel shirt for warmth. I long for some cool.

well they were 1500mah and 25c, i was running it for about 5min to a flight, and i dont know what the amp draw but i bought the kit from grayson hobbies assuming that the 30amp esc tht came with it was sufficent... all i can say is tht i was running faster then i had before but that really shouldn't have been an issue.
