Your box was sent yesterday.
The postmaster said you might even get it today. ( 30 miles away )

It's 44 miles ONE WAY to Cowlitz Cnty Fliers over near Goble
so I fly locally here in Wahkiakum Cnty.

New MDC F-14 in the air!

Just got my MDC F-14 finished this past weekend. I managed to get three flights on it with no incidents. It flew great, only took one click of up trim to fly hands off. It is a little heavy at 17 1/2 Oz. but still flys well.

I hope my decals dont melt off ! I printed the decals on plain printer paper with a laser jet printer, then glued them on with Mod Padje craft glue.

they get pretty toasty in SoCal (Mojave Desert) as well. I lost about 200$ in lipos for flying in too much heat one year.

Bob,

I'll take the heat over the rain and snow! You need to come back down and fly at our new GRASS field!

On a serious note, I have no problems with water slide decals (I also add a thin layer of Testors Solvaset, and sometimes Dullcoat). But I have had glued on decals come off.

Yes I got the box. I started putting things together right away. thanks for all the info. The only question I am having is regarding the wing servo. I see a servo that looks to be turning more than 60 degrees on one of the threads. It is either a 90 degree servo or it is being driven further. I see a Hs 65hb is recommended in another thread. I am use a spectrum 6XI. I will be checking to see if i can increase servo out put. i just started working a new rotation so it will be a few days until i gert back to the work bencg. things are going together quickly. so i hope to be in the air very soon. thanks for all the info everyone has shared.
