Visit Multiplex de, click on appropriate flag for desired language then enter any one of the following numbers only into the search box - then click link provided to view the different crystal types and frequencies.
162000 (Transmitter crystal FM Crystals)
163000 (Receiver crystal FM SC Crystals)
164000 (Receiver crystal FM DC Crystals)
e.g. S78 = TX, E78 = RX SC, E78 DS = Dual Conversion.
(protective sleeve is also colour coded)

Thanks for that Alan,
I have three of the crystals.
One is S79, one is S68, and one is So75.....................
The web link shows the same pictures for all crystals, or is it me?

I assume the first two are dual conversion Tx' s ......

"dual conversion Tx' no such item - all TX xtals are the same. Only RX may be SC or DC. Note in first post perhaps should have read
"e.g.
S78 = TX
E78 = RX Single Conversion
E78 DS = RX Dual Conversion
(protective sleeve is also colour coded) "
Yours appear to be all transmitter xtals.
In need use the MPX customer support link for direct confirmation of each xtal.

They have blue see thru plastic covers, and I understand that they indicate Transmitter crystals.

Silly me................senoir moment, I KNOW that tranny crystals are NOT dual conversion.

Thanks.

Ian

S = "sender" = transmitter
E = "empfanger" (not sure of spelling) = receiver
