I'll make a balsa platform first, then it'll be glued on using Hysol, I'll strap a cable tie around for piece of mind. I've done this with my Twinjet, seems to work well.

Its the Hysol 9462.

I like using this on motors because it doesn't get affected by heat, and it holds extremely well.

Glad to see it wan't just me. Actually I did a little more digging and it costs just under $10 for the two-part kit.

Motor and ESC now in place. I've also placed some 2mm carbon rods along the elevator and ailerons. This has worked well and has stopped any flex that occurred further down from the control horn.

I've used my Jeti 70 ESC. The Feigao motor has stacks of power and pulls around 45Amps on a 3s 3700mAh.

Mark is that a simple Velcro mount for the ESC? ....

If so what do you glue the Velcro pieces with.... Epoxy?

I ordered the 2300Kv Brushless and want to mount the ESC the same way ....

I just cut a flat platform out, then stick some velcro down, and put a couple of spots of CA around the edge, this just stops it from lifting if you remove the ESC.
