HYPERION PIPER CUB "25e" BUSH PILOT EDITION
The Bush Pilot Edition Piper Cub 25e from Hyperion includes a modified Cub wing with 60-degree flaps, for short takeoff and landing aproaches. An the longer landing gear legs with oversized wheels let the Cub 25e handle sandy or grass fields with ease
The hatch on the fuselage bottom is retained by a slide latch for instant battery pack access. Skillfully concealed, it takes nothing away from the scale appearance of the model.
Aileron servos are mounted inside the wing for better scale appearance and less drag. Control horns are made from light, strong fiberglass.
Fuselage Length: 932mm (36.7")
Wingspan: 1400mm (55.1")
Wing Area: 26.5dm2 (411 square inches)
Flying Weight: 1280-1365g (45.8-48.8oz)
This is pretty much new. I set it up to use 2 servos for the flaps but you can make them operate with just one servo. You can also lock them in place and not use the flaps at all. Also found that the suggested size motor is too much and a smaller motor could be used...saving some weight. Just moving on and don't have room for it anymore. It's been out so little that I still haven't attached the faux motor to the cowl nor the yellow triangle pieces to the landing gear.
I have no plans to ship the model at this time.
