Smoke system for small electric planes?

Hi!

I recently bought two CAP 232. There both electric and has 36Ē wingspan. Iím looking for a small smoke system that can be switched on/off from the receiver during flight. Iíve tried smoke pellets but I didnít like them. So those anyone know where I can buy a smoke system for small electric planes?

Thanks/Nadim

You could use small smoke bombs lit using a model rocket ignitor and an ESC, however once it's on, it's on until it burns out.

There's no such thing for electric planes. I know... i've asked the same question before. And I know what kind of smoke system you're looking for... and they only make them for gas planes. The only thing for electric planes is the smoke cartridges from Hobby Lobby mentioned above.

Buy an EFlite 25-amp and plug it in. Instant smoke system.

Your best bet is a smoke bomb like a Mammoth smoke tube.

Here is a video of a guy at our flying field that uses them. This is a scratch-built profile Foam Fokker and it seems to handle the weight OK.

Hi!

Thanks for your answers guys!

Iíve tried those Smoke Cartridges this last summer but I really didnít like them. It would have been really fun if they made such a smoke system. Iíll guess Iíll just have to go back to the smoke cartridges again. Do you think I can attach the smoke cartridges on each wing tip the same way as Iíve done on the pictures? Would it effect the flying characteristics?
