Nice pics. One thing I noticed on the first pic is that the fore ground is in focus more than the background. Do you have your focus set to the distant setting ? I have noticed that vibration will also cause the farther away objects to be out of focus.
Man, with all those houses has anybody ever came home after a few drinks with the guys and climbed into the sack with the wrong ole lady ??

No trees, so they fill up all that "extra" space with generic, compact neighborhoods. How repulsive, phoenix is the same way, even comes with the lovely smog cloud.

No, Mr. RC-CAM. I didn't have the chance to get it in the camera this past weekend. I'm going to try to get it in the camera this weekend for some test shots. I had the camera open already and it doesn't seem too bad with the soldering.

Richard, yes. The focus is set to the most distant setting. Since this was my first time with the camera airborne, I know I had the motor running for someof the photos. I also noticed that when I shut off the motor it will sometimes freewheel when it is pointed into the wind while gliding. I wonder if that has the same effect as the motor running?

Yep, it kinda sucks the way the housing developments are packed together. I'll try to get some more "interesting" shots on my next time out. There is a water tower really close by. I'd like to get some "up close and personal" shots of that.

Thanks for the kind words guys. I'm still so jazzed about having the camera in the air finally that I don't really care what I'm taking pictures of!

Good job, very clear.

Let's see some super close ups of that water tower!

Buzz the thing and snap a few!
Let's see if you can get close enough so we can read the words on the side...

A challenge, everyone likes a challenge!
