You mean like this?
FSK props, Dubro spinners, Towerpro 2410-9Y motors. Done up to look like YIPPEE.

Nice kit and nice flyer.

Yes, indeed it is a great plane, I build in couple hours to 4 with all stickers installed in place, Maiden on Sunday and everything went well, it took off out my friend Tim hands and we trim up only. I had about 6 flights on it and once trim It lands so softly and slow. Very fast and handles good it does what you comand without any bad tendencies. Kepp you post it if I modify anything. By the way I draw the most 28A all together and it does 320Watts.

Latin Flyer-are the motors pre installed? I found it hassle with the EMI kit as you had to install the motors yourself..

Great looking model, I found some more photos, and I just triggered the 'buy now' button..

Couldn't wait!

Are there finishing scheme options on the decal sheet?

Found some more photos.

OK,
Sorry,
Yesterday was intense here at work, We went thru a overhead reduction so couldn't check my e-mail with the exception of work, well, yes it's a great plane and almost realistic, the motors don't come installed but it's so easy, they provide aluminum motor mounts and it's all magic installed by using provided screws including the hole build of the airplane, stickers are so easy to install and attach. Go ahead and purchase I will say it's amazing flying bird. Still turning heads around at the fllying field.
Great climbing and rolling, loops and low level flights. I almost forgot to mention I minwax the complete aircraft (water base) and fiber glass with minwax the tail section for landings.

Kasra, sorry missed your question. Paint is good old Rustoleum Red. Pack is a TP 3S2100.

heya Latinflyer congrats on a great plane...I have one of the EMI models - I really like how phase 3 cleaned up this version you have though.

you mentioned you got this from Aeromicro? do you know if they have it up on their store site? I was hoping to get some replacement parts from them heh.

Also, when you get a chance, could you please list the specs on the BL motors and the battery you're using?

thanks!

I think Aeromicro only sells it locally... no mention of it on their site

Where else can this kit be had via the internet (in the states)?

It flies,

I flew the P-38 5 times today. Twice with a 2-cell 2100 and three flights with 3-cell 2100's. I am using the FSK props and the plane is a little nose heavy. It flies great. I did not use the Y they give you for the throttle. I plugged the two ESC's into individual channels and use mixing so rudder will rev up the appropriate motor. It is like a poor man's rudder If I get a chance, I will take my camera tomorrow and take some formation pictures with Latinflyer. Flying weight with the two cell 2100's was 23.5 Ounces.

Does the phase 3 kit come with the landing gear and scale wheels and tires like the EMI kit?
