get the spitfire! it flies the best and has a better radio..Normal 3 wire servos and can have a esc for brushless power added to the orig radio. you will love it!

What did you use for a pinion on the Stryker C motor?

Too low of a KV motor IMHO.

A friend and i fly a spit and fw190,the spit is mine but i test flew his and trimmed it etc,as a direct comparison id say the spit flies a bit smoother,a little more predictable and is less likely to tip stall than the fw190.

In all honesty either plane is great and i do like the panel lines on the fw that the spit doesnt have, also the roundels on the spit are a little big but thats just be being pinickity.

Id say,if youre expeienced in 4 channel low wing models then get the plane you think looks best and appeals to you the most,if you dont have experince with low wing, fast models then go for the spitfire.

If you dont have any high wing aileron experince then you might want to look elsewhere for a high wing aileron model.

Whatever you choose you wont be dissapointed, theres also the trojan thats just come out, maybe one to look at.

The real key difference is the wings... the SPit has a SOLID foam wing and the PW/P-51 have the folded foam so repairs on teh spit wing are easier....

Yeah, get the Spit.

People still like the P-51`, but its a little heavy and does not have a very good airfoil for lower speeds. I have the Fw-190 and love it. It handles better than the P-51. But then there came the Spit, Solid foam wing, 3 wire servos, better radio system, and far better performance. The Spit IS the best out of the 3 PZ warbirds-

Don't buy either of those and just get the stryker F-27C, it's alot more fun to fly.

It's alot faster, it will handle the wind better and IMo is alot easier to fly. The stryker C for the money really is a better plane then those 3 warbirds and i own both the spitfire and FW190.

The stryker c is very nice, flies very different to the warbirds though, not worse just different.

I prefer flying the stryker when im up for low rolls and general yank n bank, with the warbirds smooth flying where you keep your speed up really looks best.

Its the Spit!!!

Get yourself the spitfire, its a ball to fly. BUT you might want to try and get the old style gearbox for it thats fitted to the P-51 as the spits is a bit weaker as many flyers (including me) have found out. Just lost my spit after only 6 or 7 flights . The gearbox split (second gb) and it nosedived from about 30 feet to push up the daisys!!!!.
The box is now at Horizon UK getting looked at to see about replacment etc etc
