Mini E3D Maiden Day
Took a "First Flight" to get it dialed in, Then shot some video of 2 flights blended here into 1. A little breezy today, but this is really a great flying plane.
I got it set up on a budget with cheap servos and a cheap motor. Had a 3s 2100 Thunder power Pro-Lite for a battery. RTF weight is 21 oz. Motor is producing 250 watts at about 21-23 amps using a 10x4.7 SF prop.

The now extinct (as far as I know) YA 29-OL that United Hobbies use to sell. It is basicly the same size and weight as the Hacker A20-20L (or the UH clone). I tried an A20-22L clone (lower Kv), but did not get the power I wanted even with an 11x7 prop. The little YA wil do up to 25 amps where as the others are only rated for around 19.
I am doing right at 22 amps WOT and getting about 250 watts. Flyies great with this set up. And if I smoke the motor ... Hey, it only cost $19

Kat, not that you will ever see this or really care, but I did find some bench test data I did no the YA29-OL using an 11x4.7 prop. I am getting about 1 amp less with my 10x4.7
You can't get the YA, but you can still get the A20-20L clone. I am thinking of trying this one for the same money when I place another order.
