What's a good giant scale Warbird to build?

I was thinking of building a giant scale warbird, electrified and complete with sound systems and such. What's a good one to go with? I'm thinking beyond the H9 size, and more into the 90-120" WS so that I can carry even a heftier sound system and still be able to take the weight penalty.

Any suggestions ?

Not sure there are any purpose-built electrics, but I would love to have the razorback top-flite or HP P-47!!

A multi like a P-38 would be cool. I'd like something that naturally has a lower wingloading, thereby making design considerations easier. How about a B 25? Personally I prefer a fighter over a bomber though.

What about Miester scale? Plans all have 100" plus spans and build light. I met Jim many years ago at Top gun and discussed his plans with him. He had an example of his 100" corsair, sans equipment, weighing in at 10 pounds! I have the plans and the short kit for this plane and plan to do it in E-power as a winter project. Not sure if Jim is still around, but I think somebody is still distributing his stuff.

Is there any way you can see the plans first before buying them? I'd like to see what they look like, and thereby, able to make evaluations on how to lighten them.

Josh what about the hanger 9 Jug or mustang? The yellow aircraft spits mk14 would be sweet as well. For twins look at the new top flite B-25 arf.

I want to go bigger. If you're going to go warbird, might as well go with something original (size-wise) that everyone will go gaga over . Besides, a 100+ WS would be about the right size to comfortably carry the sound gear. The Jug + mustang comes quite heavy (for its size). I think building a kit, I can go lighter as well.

Sweet! Are you going to add sound ?

As for me, I was thinking of something that will use the 12S 5000 mah batt that I already have.

See Wing Manufacturing (wingmfg. com). I just finished their B-17 and I'm thrilled with it - big (96"), light (10.5lbs AUW), and flies like a dream. WingMFG also have a B-25 which is very popular apparently as well as a number of other kits you can look at.
