i don't think it gets any tougher than an EPP combat wing. i had a windrider bee a few years ago and that thing was pretty indestructable.

I don't know how prices would translate after factoring in shipping and
import duties and such. There are plenty of all round gliders like the
Moth, and Super Scooter but it's really hard to beat a Bee (sold
by some other weird name there) build Predator style.
Has a very wide range of performance, and is certainly the most durable
EPP plane available. We combat, DS, race and thermal our Bees.

i'd say the SAS planes are hard to beat on out and out toughness. Maybe not performance though.....

The m60 is a good all-round model, i would say. Might not be the toughest, but it's a plane for most occasions.....

Hmmm, now Harv. had one of those S-15's Joe, but he sold it to me, just was'nt good enough for him it seems. I still have it (just being re-covered) and i've crashed bashed and generally flown its ar$e off with full ballast many times and i still have'nt split the foam since i redid the strapping tape. Top model in my book. Still have a NEW kit here waiting to be needed.... its actually the sister ship to the one you had with the bigger spars Joe.

I wondered when you`d bring that up i just couldn`t get on with it
I did consider an m60 but is it much different from a gulp of which i have 2 and the second one is being a right bastard to set up

i doubt it's hugely different. but the gulp is all ready an excellent all round model i would have thought. I can't see you are going to get something much better than what you've already got...... That said, you can never have too many toys eh

maybe try a Reaper (expensive) or something. The m60 is not currently available anyway. Maybe the JW, as suggested, would be a nice alternative......

How about a predator bat? just to be different......

When foam does not act like foam

The moth by Harris Nelson is a dream. I have recovered my 2002 build and it just amazing; the gooped nose is a bit crusty I'll admit. The inverted performance of this plane is unparalleled. I am now flying $$ planes and this design made that possible

Its hard to beat a hardened combat ship for durability. Its harder still to destroy it. I've tried.

The EZglider is OK in light winds and is actually easy to fly, even for a beginner, but does not hold up well if you land in the dry brush/rocks etc. The Elapor foam gets scratched up very easily and looks beat up in no time. The EZG is easy to ballast, though. The hollow g/f plastic spar fits a standard threaded bolt. This increases the speed and penetration at the cost of more impact damage at the time of landing/crashing. I'm new to sloping but my EZG is not standing up well to the slope. I will be choosing an EPP design for my next sloper. Much more durable.

Cantebury sailplanes Tigershark

For something that isn't a combat wing, it's pretty much just as tough... And if their other kits are made with the same foam and made the same way, I imagine they are all pretty dang durable.

I'm impressed every time I take out my Shark.... not only is it fun to fly, it takes some amazing abuse.
