I know it's OT- but has anyone found a thread on the Pitts?
The Texan, Taylorcraft and Pawnee all have threads, but that Pitts is way to cool for it not to have a thread somewhere... I just couldn't find it.

thanks- now back to the Taylorcraft...

No Pawnees yet. Build what is new now and before you are done with these three, your wallet will be lighter if you are buying a Pawnee.

I had an opportunity to look over an Eflite Taylorcraft at my LHS today and to say I was impressed was an understatement. Horizon did a very nice job with this one and I love the covering scheme. I inspected the fuselage to see how easy it will be to install a rear hardpoint for floats. Should be a peice of cake, lots of access and wood to attach it to. It would have followed me home but I'm under strict orders from Mrs. Claus not to purchase anything before Christmas and since this is on my list I guess I'll comply (but I'll still be leaving lots of hints).

Well, since I'll have to wait a few weeks for mine someone here should go buy one and get a build thread started. I posted another picture for inspiration.

Don't feel bad, MY Hobbytown didn't even know E-flite was making an AT-6 let alone HAVE one -absolutely clueless!

I just got notified that the Online orders for the Taylors are shipping as well. I canceled the order because I ordered one through my LHS (not Hobbycluelesstown) as well; had to have a back-up plan

Get the one I canceled online!!

In the future I'll order through my LHS as well. My club gets a discount, I can inspect it before accepting it, and it's probably in a shipment vs. a lone vulnerable box!

Received an e-mail yesterday that my back-ordered Taylorxcraft 450 was in stock and did I wish to complete the order. I immediately replied YES, well lo and behold it arrived today, talk about service.
When I removed it from the very handsonely designed box I could not believe what was before my eyes, THIS IS THE MOST AWESOMELY BEAUTIFUL MODEL I'VE EVER SEEN I thought their J3 CUB was outstanding but this bird is SPECTACULAR!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank's to E-Flite and John Redmond for making this model available.
WOW, WOW, WOW.

Sure is a beauty, but have to wait for other projects to be completed first.

Excellent Don.

You are in charge of the build thread so get that digital camera charged up, the bench cleared off and lets get to it!

Pretty please.
