If you look at the hangar 9 website, download the manual (http://www.horizonhobby.com/ProdInfo...t450manual.pdf). The battery hatch is shown on page 33.

I've had several "rough" landing with my mini funtana (yellow ver.) and it handled them all just fine. I think Eflite makes pretty good ARFs for the money. And I will be getting the Taylorcraft 450 when it comes out (any day now!) It's one of their heavier models as far as parkflyers go at 28-31oz, which I actually like because I tend to fly in a lot of 10-12mph winds sometimes and that 46" ws with that weight (which might be even heavier for me if I use A123 batteries) should handle the wind with no problem.

I've flown the Mini Funtana X and the Mini Showtime all season , and both planes have been very durable and have taken everything I could throw at them , including a whole bunch of harrier landings and a whole bunch of 3d flying , including blenders for giggles. I set up both planes with the Park 480. The planes are not fragile , IMHO. But they aren't trainers.
Just started building the Eflite TCraft this morning. At first blush , I can't believe how much quality is in the box. I'll power mine with a Park 480 . I'll report back on the build , including weight. I think Eflite is putting out excellent product at a reasonable price. I'll let you know on the Tcraft. Dorin Luck |
