For witch reason do you have made the choice to use a flat wing?

thanks. haha... well, its just that i m lazy to do the airfoil wings. And i was afraid that after all the hard work, it might turn out that the curve on one wing might not be the same as the other, and that i do not have CF plate. i remember seeing some members here oso did the flat wing.

One thing i find interesting is the hover part, what makes it so easy to hover? Out of the few 3D planes that i have build and fly - diablo 3D, extra 330, foamexii bi-plane, this hover the easiest. does anyone know what makes this ultron so good to hover? i still wonder. haha...

oh yah guys, how come for all my 3D planes, i find that the wings are not that stiff, esp when u come down fast and pull elevator out of the grass, u can see how much the wing flex. i tried 5mm and 6mm CF tube, its still the same. or is it just me?

I have a lot of fun with the Ultron. Then, I decided to construct a second one with some minor modifications. Here are some pictures.

I really liked the look of this plane so I went ahead and built it.

- Built with Bluecore foam
- 1500 mah 3s lipo
- SUPPO 2217-08 motor
- 30 amp suppo ESC
- 4 Eflite submicro servos
- AR6200 receiver

Did a test flight this morning and I was very impressed with the flying characterists! Very stable yet very aerobatic! Most 3D planes drop pretty quick when you cut power. This one actually has some glide to it! Also has an amazingly fast roll rate. I may have to change to a higher hole on the control horn to tone it down.

The plane has a very rigid and solid feel to it. Amazing how strong this foam becomes when you form a full fuse and full wing with it.
