Yes, one wheel is biger than other

I lose one from both pair on other aeroplanes and left with one small and one larger.. and install them on that model.

In the meantime, I already cut away landing gears, because now I rather land in the grass...directly from harrier. It is soft landing on the spot, so no landing gears are needed anymore, as they represent necessarry drag and weight.

I cut the depron along a metal ruler using very sharp Xacto knife. I sharpen the blade from time to time, so it stay sharp for clean cuts.

Curved lines I cut just going freehanded with blade as close as possible over the lines drawn on the depron, using paper templetes.

hello.....i'm from Romania and two weeks ago I saw this thread and instantly loved the model.
I've started from the sketch you have posted at the begining and used in a 3d program to make some good plans....

the materials are: EPP for the skin and carbon and depron for structure and wing

here is the plan......i will come back with some improovements.....all the parts are from 3mm depron and the skin 4mm EPP....wou will have to scale the image......the wing is 700 mm long....

I am glad that you like my design. It have kind of "bionic" shape, especially in the side view.

Regarding your approach, I must admit, that you take a different structural aproach than me. Well, I hardly wait for your continuing of the build, and off course i am courious about the end result. The RTF weight and off course the performance.

How do you intent to decorate the model? Paint or colored tape?

I think, that decoration add to look!

Today I finished my drawings and plans and send them for publishing in our RC modeller`s magazine. It will be out on december.

My plans are quite different as yours as structure and parts are done by different approach.

I like your approach! What kind of 3D CASD program you use? I wonder how you "unroll" the surface to get the flat template for the part.
