HOLY COW! I don't know if you've seen this, but....

Jesus! That plane has a 6" Wingspan (yes I know it says 6' but if that was the case those people would be giants) and it flew with proportional aileron, elevator and throttle control! I would like to see that thing fly!!!

The guy flying it is kinda silly. He's at that big flying field to fly a plane that he could obstensibly fly in his garage. Ahhh a man of my own.

Yeah, but if you had made a plane like that, wouldn't you want to show it off?

one of the guys from aerovironment has a p47. It has a thirty mile per hour stall speed. I was talking to him and asked if he was going to fly it, and he said yeah, but I need to build up some curage first. It is amazing to see. And it is all scale except for the dihedreal in the wing.

That so cooooooooool.

Like a Micro Sizer RC Car.

Man, what kind of Rx's and stuff did he use?

I want to build one, even if it only flies for 2 mins I'd be real happy.

That is fantastic!!! Don't know how I missed the thread. My hat is off to the builder AND the pilot! He's got a lot better eyes than I have!

Bob Selman had it at DEAF and it is a real beauty! The craftsmanship is immaculate. It has scale rib spacing and incredibly even had super tiny lightening holes in the super tiny ribs! It was truly something to behold. The servos (or whatever those little magnetic devices are called) were inside the fuse and unbelievably small torque rods were use for the ailerons. It is a marvel.

Unfortunately I left before it flew on Saturday, but I heard it flew quite well.

The guy that built it must have built or repaired watches for a living or be like the guy I saw at the mall that engraves your name on a grain of rice!
