F-22 coroplast plan wanted

Recently I got some coroplast.

Does anybody has ever build an F-22 raptor pusher jet or similar ?

Do you have some link to plans to be used ?

T.I.A.

Hiya,

What thickness of coroplast have you laid your hands on?

I've thought about making a coroplast Eurofighter Typhoon using depron foam plans, but the wife would kill me
There are several F-22 depron foam plans around - just a thought.
Alternatively, you could start with a Mugi and add-on (so to speak).

Thank Kevin,

It's a thin board. It shoul be 2 or 3 millimeter.
I thought about using the foam plan. The coro I have is too thin, I have to solve for the flexibility adding some bamboo skewers and or CF roads.

I know I've seen guys build coro jets, but wasnt' able to find any on this forum for you. I'd suggest checking over at spadworld, I know there's some stuff there, but I'm not sure if they are pushers or not...worth taking a look though.

Securing FINS.

This is the way I fix the fins to the fuse.

Well it's looking pretty good so far!

The method of gluing the fins is similar to the way I build a Mugi.
I usually tape the joint or place a bead of hot-melt glue to give a good hold.

What battery/motor/prop are you thinking of installing?

I've seen a recent thread on the scratchbuilt foamies where an F22 weighed 7oz all up. I haven't noticed a lot of difference in weight between thin correx and foam built wings to be honest, but correx just bounces whereas foam breaks up!

Looking forward to more build pictures.

Kevin so far the bare frame is about 5 oz (150 gr).
I plan to stay around 7-8 oz (250-300 gr) AUW.

This is the motor I ordered.

Hi Kevin, I'm still searching for the right motor.
Probably I'm going to use a micromotor (Kv 2100) or a higher torque (Kv 1800) with 3S and GWS 7/3 prop.

Due to work commitment I should have happy hours in two weeks time.
