RJ Gritter makes history with Hempel-style One-Wing_KE landing

On Sunday 9/16/07 RJ Gritter got an unexpected chance to duplicate a little piece of RC history. Just about everyone in the RC community has seen the video or heard the story of Bill Hempel losing a wing in flight yet managing to guide the plane on knife edge back to the runway and land the plane with only one wing. Watch and see what happens to RJ Gritter when he is suddenly faced with his own one-wing challenge at the RDRC Fly-for-Tots in Raleigh NC.

hell yeah, that's what i've been doing since the 1st time i saw Bill does it

it's easy to keep the plane in the air, but once you want to land wit both wheels, it's super hard to keep it on the run way =P

whoo! now i can see the video, i don't have the HD drive for the other version
