Great looking parts. Also, glad we are back to the Heli, and not the "other" issues. Boy, I think I need a smaller Heli soon

Thanks for the kind words guys. But the main motor unfortunatly wasnt included in the picture. It is a GWS DX carbon brushed.

A few questions for you, I've been trying to learn as much info on the Housefly as possible. The main gear: does it happen to be 81 (or very close) teeth? Are the motor pinions the new 6 tooth or are they 10? Where is the swashplate? VERY cool stuff, have fun!

Aaarrgh!

seeing all these parts is frustrating!

I guess I'll just keep making a frame a night until I can get some other parts..

Jim,

The swashplate is simply some injection molded pieces with carbon rod arm extenders brass hollow balls and the large ball bearing you see in Bill's photo.

I am sending Bill a fully assembled swahplate with a new innovation (this will be shown as the color piece on the inner ring of the swashplate and don't think it has been tried yet, but it works very nice, allowing the swashplate to spring back into position when it is not forced to pivot. I have found that this componetn's action helps in stabilizing the control better. It is also extremely light weight.

I have been purposely trying to stay away from putting balls in swashplates to save extra weight. For the purists, a ball can be fitted in the inner ring of the swashplate. However it is not necessary.
