but in December when your frozen over and dying... It will be 70 degrees here

Oakdale can hit 115 for days on end... on the runway it's 20 degrees hotter
last year the rubber started to get soft on my shoes!!! it was time to go home...lol

I'll start a thread and make a poll for a good month and weekend for the show and tell the higher ups my thoughts

They don't know that electrics don't like the heat.. packs, motors and ESC
are completey taxed on hot days out there.....

but Tam just keeps flying...lol
that guys nuts

Whiy I'm nut.
The only time I having fun is go flying. Why stop.....soon I'm back in the shop.
Is all about works and sometime works had to deal little things is drive me nut.

yours nuts for flying last year at 110 degrees in oakdale..lol... then in the rain at your jet meet..... running your own business is tough.. I've been doing it for years so I know how you feel.... just keep doing what you do best and don't let the stress get you

Spark trailing strut update

Here the finish products look like. Not exactly. I'll finish with black anodize.
The total weight with strut, 2.5" MPI, brake and retract 3.3oz per unit.
I'll play with different load spring. Smooth trarmac runway be using softer spring and grass go to be stiffer spring.
I working on the nose strut too to have complete match set.

Looks cool Tam. Makes me wish I hadn't already sunk $$ into the Jet-1A set.

For what it's worth (2 cents?), I would personally lean toward the natural metal look on the struts rather than black anodized.
