what motor are you using for 8s 55 amps in a DS-51?

well look at it this way. an ideal 120 setup puts out about 11 pounds installed on about 4kw, thats average. and i'm talking with the velocity to back it up. Either there wrong on spark doing that, or there right and they have the outlet too big. It cant do thrust like 94 cause it is 94 cut down. So you get less thrust not a whole lot more velocity but get 120 fan weight. So I would think best case it might get 9 1/2 pounds installed with the right outlet but with all the weight. Thats why 90 makes more sense cause yeah a midi does about 6 pounds lets say, but a ds on 2.4 will put out more like 7 1/2 but on pounds less weight adn gobs more velociity than all of them. And if you go the other way with it, and cram in a 120, most deficient size and inlet 120 setups I have seen get in the 7 to 9 pound range at best.

See some of the models and size at aspach for 90mm, see the Bandito fly. Look at the Spark again and still I think 90mm.

I am told the new production kits are lighter, and compared to Porz, they floated in.

My mate Dave Wilshere is spending Jet power flying one. He measured the static amps in the model ready to fly and got 96amps.

That same unit was pulling 86 on my bench.

Robert, its your model, I have seen you fly, stop stressing and go buy one
