The RC Groups Christmas Present to YOU! Drawing

Welcome to the holiday season everyone! (has it been another year already?)

Firstly, I'd like to thank every one of you for making this year a great one for RC Groups! All of us directly involved with the site have been working VERY hard to keep it informative, family friendly, fun, reliable, and FAST (recent server move). We have a new catch-phrase printed in 4 foot letters on our cyber-office wall.

It reads: "DO MORE"

All of us are pledged to give more of ourselves to the success of the site, and more importantly - to the hobby in general. We'll be sponsoring more events, offering our direct "hands on" help, officially attending more events, hosting the first annual "E Zone Fly-In" in 2003, and much much more!

In this spirit - we would like to give a lucky user a present from us in time for the holiday season.

John E. from www.puffinmodels.com has graciously stepped up and offered one of the last 17 available Teltech BD5 kits as our gift to you.

All you have to do, is post to any forum between now and Dec. 16th, and you're entered! The winner will be drawn at midnight on the 16th, so I can ship your new kit to you in time for the holidays!

Special "bonus" contest:
We've done drawings before, so I'm "doing more" as well.
Don't tell Jim, but I personally like to drop into RC Groups chat once in a while and take a "break" from my horribly demanding job ( ). From now until the 16th if I pop in and you're there and talk to me (ie: really there - you know who you are...) I'll put your name in a hat for an extra drawing for an extra (and secret) prize.

Again, a big Thank You, and cyber hug to everyone participating on the site, it is YOU who continue to make it better every day!

Shawn Palmer
For Andy W, Dave Lilley, Brian Cullen, every last one of our great moderators, and Jim Bourke

Happy Holidays

GREAT IDEA SHAWN! You're going to finally give the few of us that are always in chat some new people to talk to. It's been really dead in there lately, and seeing as how you pop in and out like a Whack-A-Mole, they'll be waiting like Star Wars fans at the opening of Episode 2...just to speak to the Great Shawn "Obi-wan" Palmer!

ROFL KStelly!

Ade - I meant you with the "you know who you are" - the only thing you'll get from us this Christmas is a LUMP OF COAL!

Wow, very cool! I gust popped over to the Puffin site and the BD is really a neat model. I'd love to win one of those.

Okay, I posted. When will you ship the model?

Hey I'll take a lump of coal, as long as an E-Zone sticker is attached to it!

I've popped in a few times to the chat room, but by the time I do get home it's very late (or way early in the morn.).

My past visit I spoke with "you know who", gave me some great tidbits on DS'ing. Still haven't gotten a ship yet, but maybe a JW for Xmas!

I don't know about DS Ade, but a couple have gone off to be PSS.

So many seem to want to win it, I now feel as though we should have sent them all on their way to avoid having too many sad people on Christmas day.

There are 18 of these kits that I know of still looking for a caring home. One is winging it's way to R/C Groups, and we still have 17 here waiting for care to be lavished on them - but remember, a BD5 is for life, not just for Christmas

Happy posting!

Wonder if I'll win it back...
