you'll just have to trim the elevator if it pitches up.

funny I added lead to the rear to balance it at 2" and it pitched down, but then when the wind is 10 or better it is perfect.

you'll have to trim the thing anyway.

Hi.
Three weeks ago I bought a Lindinger "special edition" of WR Fox (complete with long cable servos). 'I have configured as a pure sailplane using it depending on wind conditions, with AA or AAA batteries pack opportunely shifting the C.G. of the wing , sometimes adds 20 grams hexagonal fishing weights next to the battery by blocking them with polystyrene-simple and effective.
Excellent machine that alternating when I can’t "really" fly with the paraglider and I save the day!
Today was very north windy conditions with turbulences; when landing after the second flight has I've breaked the nose!!
No problem for glue the part (thanks of God it's EPP!) but I suggest to all those who fly "loads" to fill with polystyrene the bow compartment left free for placement brushless motor. The excavation has IMHO it significantly weakened the structure of the nose, making it more fragile in case of unlucky encounter with stones hidden by the grass landing.
I also suggest to Mr. Lou Tze Ming if he's going to hold still on the assembly line this good sailplane to "leave" the removable cylinder of the original EPP nose.

And now a question to friends of forum
I would like to know if Windrider direct shipping prices from HK are inclusive of import taxes, since I was interested in buying dishes and other aircraft.
regards

I have bought 3 planes from Windrider (to the UK) and have never paid any extra tax.

I just got mine today. and it took about a week:

Parcel tracks

Date Time Location Tracking Event
01-02-2010 12:34 Manchester Piccadilly Depot Parcel delivered
01-02-2010 01:25 Manchester Piccadilly Depot Out for delivery
29-01-2010 20:55 Manchester Piccadilly Depot Arrived at delivery depot
29-01-2010 13:51 National Hub Sorted in hub
29-01-2010 09:04 International Hub En route to delivery depot
29-01-2010 09:02 International Hub Arrived in destination country
27-01-2010 16:22 Heathrow Airport Arrived at destination country
26-01-2010 16:24 Delivery Agent - HONG KONG - PTT Left origin country
25-01-2010 13:49 Delivery Agent - HONG KONG Collected from customer
You'll notice that most of the time taken was Parcel Farce moving it within the UK. Ironically, by a service called "Express 48". I think that must mean it spends at least 48 hours at each depot along the way.

Anyway, it's here, it's good and I wasn't charged any import duty or VAT

No. Sorry, Ben D Wing. I'm trying to discipline myself to finish at least one build before I start another one... I'm much better at starting things than finishing them.

I read the manual though. Was it really intended to be put together entirely with fibre reinforced sticky tape? That might explain why you get such a big roll of it. I think I'll use glue instead I guess that tape could be used to stiffen it quite a bit though.

I assembled the whole airframe with regular cyano (not foam safe). I only used the tape on the L/E of the wing.

Today 3-4 m/s.
We went to do some slope soaring.
Bloody cold!!

I added 4mm carbon rods (glued) into the CF tubes on each wing and main tube.
Now it is pretty strong

Here You can find the photos of my Fox.

If it has a 2M wingspan then it must be the same plane as this:
