im using 9 gram in the wings , and they needed a little bit of routing to fit closer in , you could use 85mgs in the fuse, maybe those karbonite hs 65s in the wing and rudder..

cheers

~7 degrees forward of the CG is a good starting point imho.

reminder---
Please use a small size AAAX4 RX battery in case you don't add the rudder servo on.
It can make a perfect CG on balance.
Otherwise, you may need to add some ballast on the tail.

Ming-
I got mine too!!! I love you Ming! After a quick look at the PERFECT packing job I did a little bench flying! It took me all of 5 min. to get it put together. I LOVE how you engineered this one Ming! It will definitely be the easiest building conventional EVER. I figured out the Predator-iz-ation process last night as well. Then I was even MORE excited!
I LOVE the wing tips! Waffer thin FOR SURE. I believe with the new spar and covering process I've come up with for this ship will make it VERY fast and efficient for a light to moderate lift ship!
For guys covering this ship, even just the wings, cut your battery into the nose forward of the gear bays if you want it to balance and still be pretty light. You'll need the added leverage to counter the covering weight and balsa alierons, if you go that way.
I think span wise strapping tape top and bottom of each wing then thin gooped and covered like a Predator Bee will make a very nice wing!
I'm doing mine with heavier covering and an extra light weight full span spar system, permanent wings on this first one along with the Balisti-cover heavy. I want to use slightly plyable covering for this first one so there will be no surprizes. If I had more then one fox I'd be using the dimensional stuff but, I can not risk my ONLY ONE!
I'm sparing the wings, the fuse (longeron) and the horizontal for MAX stiffness/performance. I do believe I'll be flying this ship more like a tough crunchie then a foamie but, I'm happy to do it with foam wings this thin, sleek, and fast looking (likely fast flying too!) and if it flies ANYTHING like a crunchy it'll be the BEST value ANYWHERE!
Again, Thank-you Ming, this is the best designed ship you have created yet! Makes me excited about the new bee too. Any news there? Karl

P.S. Once preliminary testing is done on the fox I'll design a build for a portable/removable wing version that is also VERY STIFF and easy to ship RTF BROTHERS!!!! With it being designed for this application to start with I know it will be quite easy to do a nice stiffy too!

Picked mine up from the post office today. It's a beauty out of
the box, but still has plenty of room for customization (e.g. balsa
control surfaces, ribbon spars to stiffen up the tips of the wings
and the tail boom, beefier joiner added closer to CG, add Goop/tape/covering
to wing/fuse to smooth out molding bumps and add needed weight)
Maybe two beefy steel rods fore and aft of the molded in spars to
act as both stronger joiners and ballast.

I tried dropping the money on this plane all dramatically "slamming money down", but it's not enough to make much noise.

Cant wait! Thanks Ming.

Is it possible to get both the EPP and the EPS wingsets w/ one order?

What would the added cost be?

How much of a weight savings does the EPS wing provide?

THanks! John

Got mine, ditto what everyone else has already said, very fine work on the design and implementation- right down to the double box.

You are a class act Mr Ming!

Thanks,
EB
