Chris
I think the large scale people (HD?) in SA sell it.

Can't think of the names presently but ther is a large veneer supplier in Sydney they sell Kato Ash looks like the Obechi that precedent kits use to use (remember the HiBoy)

Here in Brissy Bims sell a range of veneers

cheers Jeff

GOOP Supply in Australia

Not sure if anyone else has located a source of Goop in Australia - I couldn't find any reference to it in RC Groups.

I've managed to find 2 potential suppliers, both here around Brisbane.

Madison Sport http://www.madisonsport.com.au/ had some Marine Goop 10oz cartridges (3 times bigger than Shoe-Goo, and UV resistant. The US guys seem to reckon the one to get is either "UV 6800" or "Marine"). We just bought out the few tubes they had left, but they should have more in stock in Feb or so. They don't normally sell retail, but I pleaded that we're a bunch of hobbyists and they put me onto the sales guy who agreed to sell some to me. But you have to buy a whole box. I can't stick his mobile no. on this thread but if you ring their office they should put you onto him. Be appreciative, since they're doing a favour to us aeromodellers.

There is another company called Access Resource at Redcliffe (Shelley is the contact) who currently only stock small tubes of E6000 which isn't much help since it's similar price to Shoe Goo. However they're currently putting together an order and will start stocking the UV-6800 10oz cartridges sometime early next year. http://www.armsmodelit.com.au/ArmsGlues.htm Their price estimate is $17 - $20 per cartridge, (discount on box orders).

If you're really keen to get some it would be good to ring one of these suppliers and state your interest, so they order enough.

Goop is a "hazardous material" for transport so you can't just have it posted across from the States. It has to come surface, via a HAZMAT approved freight forwarder.

Thanks, I'll keep them in mind.
Might be a bit to far for me to go just to get some tape.
Do bunnings sell this type of tape? Even though my nearest is 1.5hrs away.
