You save shipping and the hobby store buys at vendor prices and makes a few bucks too. Only thing you'll have to wait a week or so, which is exactly the same wait if you paid and waited for shipping.

What brand do you prefer?
APC & GWS depending on the motor and type of plane.

APC seems to be the prop of choice - I wish mine didn't bust in half first time out.

Any try these Kavan 'Soft Props?'

I have a couple I picked up somewhere in a deal. They work well for me, pull a lil stronger than the APCs.
Anybody try the United Hobbies apc-like props yet? Here:

For APC without a doubt - ecubedrc.com.

Azaar is one of the fastest shippers anywhere.

Good prices too.

I didn't notice anything on the site about "unbreakable" but they look like apc - thin e's, and feel less substantial than that, mainly cause they're thinner. Maybe they are thinner but stronger....?

It's about 8.2". And pitch about 4-5.

Yeah, the reference for 'unbreakable' came from this:

"Softprops" beginner's props -- they don't break when you land on them!"

I'm glad you like them, I'm going to try them with my son who want's to start learning to fly. So far, he breaks every prop I put on. Go figure.

I'm teaching my son, as well, but breaking props may be in my genes....I still break a bunch - And so does he!
