Gabby 2M TD RTF-e-conversion parts as well
I have a seldom flown Gabby 2 meter for sale. I bought it from a local pilot for the purpose of making it into a Gabby-e. Soon after the purchase, I got a Supra and an Organic 2.5 electric, for some reason, the Gabby is not being flown at all. I would be surprised if this airframe has more than 2 hours airtime.
The TD version is the exact same glider as the e-version, except the nose is cut off of the electric version. I purchased all the parts to make the light weight power system as described on the Gabby-E page listed below.
The Gabby is a pretty nice molded 2 meter. It loves speed and penetrates very well. Even though it has Drela airfoils for thermaling, I have no doubt it would haul butt on the slope too. This one is in excellent condition with no damage or repairs other than some light marking and very tiny bits of hangar rash that you would expect to see from handling, assembling, and transporting. The V-tail has been permanently set in place.
The wing servos are Hitec HS-125 MG, fuse servos are hitec HS-81. Battery is a 700 mah nicd bought new this summer and has under an hours use. I also have a DLG-style switchjack installed so you can turn on/off and charge w/o opening the canopy. All items were purchased new for this build. Flying weight is 32 oz.
The Gabby TD sells for $340
hs-125 MG $35 each
hs-81 $16 each
Total $475 w/o shipping
Your price $375 shipped CONUS. Paypal preferred.
I also have the power system to make this into a Gabby-e. All items are new and unsoldered. This is a similar setup to the ultralight power system advertised on Nesail for this plane.
Hacker b-20-15L w/ 4:1 GB $175
Polyquest 3s 1200 mah 20C lipo $40
Castle Creations CC-25 $70
Aluminum spinner and 7.5x4 prop $25
I will include it for $290 with the purchase of the glider only.
Thanks! Send me a PM.
