Is this an engine with a belt drive on the front and a wierd rotary valve on the top? I might have one on the front of a DR1 that's been hanging on the wall for a while....
I'll check it out when I get home. (I'm at work now)

Huh, what are the odds?
Sure enough I have the very thing! Been hanging on the wall for a few years but it ran fine whem I de-commissioned the Dr1. I oiled it with Marvel Mystery Oil when I hung it up and it still turns over free with good compression. As I remember it wouldn't idle unless I used a Fox Miracle plug, but after that it ran great.
