I search some time to manage the sending of my frames outside of europe, but postage and customs cost would be to high for many people.
Now I decide to look for somebody who can produce the parts with CNC-machine outside of europe.
I would share my design for other model builder.
The elevated tail can be done with glasfibercomposits in 1.5mm thickness and only for the linkage arm you need small flanged bearings, which should be get by your local dealer.
Would there be some interest to manage the elevated tail in this way?

P.S. sorry for my poor english. But I think my designs are good

Is that 1st design a seaking ?? Looks good ... been thinking about this myself recently ...

don't worry about your english, your design speaks for itself.
The design looks great, nice and simple and I would guess the weight gain would be minimal.

Please keep us posted about this. I would think Boyd is the perfect person to get your design into the hands of someone who can make it happen this side of the pond. He has put up some of the best threads on this site.

I sold 18 Chassis with this elevated tail, the most are flying, some are in building process.

This is from one of my customers. DarthDRKs body and my frame with elevated tail.

My prob is not the making of this tail.
My prob is getting these parts outside of Europe to the other scalefans.
The postage and custom costs are to expensive.
It would be cheaper for you to get these parts, if someone produce them directly in USA.

My apologies for this being a bit off-topic but I think it applies as far as the availability of elevated tails and that style of frame goes.

Whatever happened to HubDave? He helped me out quite a bit a year or two ago and had a very nice design available for purchase.

I have been looking for someone who makes it for you, without these expensive costs for transportation and custom.

Perhaps this person is found .

BTW: for my designs I use Rhino3D
