IC power pod for 3m woodie glider
I am thinking of constructing/buying a IC power pod for a 3m Paragon sailplane.
- I would rather it is underpowered than overpowered.
- I already have a 0.49 power pod for my Gentle Lady and (late) Spirit but of course this would be too underpowered for the big Paragon.
- I am aware of the arguments in favour of electrics but I like the noise and aroma of IC and I would like a "plug and play" system that can be rubber banded onto the top of the wing without CG adjustments
- Hi starting would remain my primarily mode of launch, but the IC power pod would be "for a bit of fun"
Any off-the-shelf pods that are suitable for 3m sailplanes?
What good trusty engine would be suitable?
