My version of scratch built Typhoon

Hi everybody, this is my first try in boat building. It is 39" long 8" wide scratch built.

Finishing planking, redoing covering board (just did not like it, had to cut off old one with router), bending planks for stem

Your FIRST scratch built?????

That is going to be very light METI, with all those holes in the bulkheads!...

What motor?..

Nice, please keep the pics coming, a very nice build so far!

I think you have a foot in the aircraft camp Meti, those holes are the sign of weight saving.. possibly gliders?

Very very impressive.
I studied aircraft design at university that's why so many holes in the frames and yes it is weight saving.

Cutting is manual and very traditional:
- draw frames on plywood
- drill holes
- cut with arch saw
- sanding
